...until the latest update. Now it crashes more often than a blind, drunk race car driver. It can't go more than an hour without crashing (often only a few minutes). It's completely unusable in its current state.

Update: Pause crash is still unfixed. I am going to try Plex app until 8player can get it together. Update: I just found that if you keep your iPhone connected to a charger you can prevent the pause bug from crashing the app. But, as soon as you unplug it from the charger it'll crash a minute later. Maybe it has something to do with the screen lock. Update: Had been working great up until this update. It's annoying how after pausing, and then when you press play, after about a minute, the app will close. And, as dphilippe said, you lose your place. Works great with Serviio. Streaming out of the network, over the internet works great! As long as you have plenty of upload speed at home and a decent signal on your device.

As of latest update, it keeps pausing. I think the idea about keeping it plugged in to a charger works, but please fix soon. Otherwise love this app. It reads my multiple network drives, and works well with Apple TV to display the video on my tv.

It seemed as though this may be a worthy choice. I was wrong and wasted 5 bucks. The app will not view DLNA pictures and the video playback from the same DLNA server stop every few seconds. I should note that Amazon fire TV stick can view images and play video from this same server. Don't waste your money!

I was looking for a way to watch my movies on my WD My Cloud drive with my iPad and iPhone. Came across this in some of the iPad threads and it works great! Had to buy the full version but well worth the $$! Nice job!

Great app. Sometimes it suddenly halts when downloading but even so it's pretty cool to listen directly from my storage using dlna and also locally after download. I recommend .

This is a full-featured, easy to use media player. It works great with any DLNA or UPNP devices on your network. It's easy to set up and use. One feature this player has that no others have, is the ability to sort songs by the track number in the ID3 tag in folder view. Most players just sort them alphabetically. My only complaint with this app is that it is buggy when running in the background. About a third of the time tracks don't advance when the app is running in the background. Even when bringing it to the foreground, the music won't play unless you kill the app and restart.
