Crashes w/o network

DCoder2099

Garett you’re good game. Easy to play quick rounds, although the AI is a little tough. Would give it more stars if it didn’t crash on launch when there’s no network connection.

Faithful adaptation

Wornoutcamel

Absolutely love this game both as a tabletop and now as a digital adaptation. This is an excellent reproduction and well worth the price. The latest update really polished the UI. Overall this app is highly deserving the 5 stars I’ve given it in this review.

Forced update hell

bdnchr

App locks until you update it. Literally unplayable.

7 Wonderful

ChristopherNYC

7 Wonders is one of my favorite tabletop games and I’m thrilled to find how well it works as an App. Build a civilization with a deck of cards and each game is different. Brilliant.

Game does not work

Dihgggff

Press “play solo vs ai”, then nothing happens. Can not play game.

Another cash grab by hobby bg

grimoire_games

I have a couple thousand boardgames in one form or another, this is one that benefits from the company of people on an actual table, though I am playing on a phone and not a tablet. Interface is rather confused and messy for such a simple game, it took me forever to figure out what a “neighboring” city was. The subleties of point counting are lost, unless you enjoy spelunking through tiny sub menus to see what your six opponents are doing. After winning some and losing some by near random selections of cards to place I started feeling like I really didn’t care how things worked. The satisfaction of the tabletop game is that this thing is stupid easy, but made fun by playing it with people, negotiating and scheming in real time, etc. I have tried almost every “hobby bg” in app form on the phone, some are well implemented, but most experience dropped development and become abandonware, or are riddled with bugs and then ported over to Steam— Well, copy pasted to Steam. This is a practice I wish would end, among others. Buy a copy of Tabletop Simulator. ;)

Question about abruptly stopping mid game

Jmm-rvw1

This is an excellent adaptation of the board game. When I play live with other people, some games “kick me out” during the middle of the game. I get a message about deserting the game though I initiated nothing to quit. When I try to reconnect it says “unable to join cancelled match”. I’m trying to find out why this is happening- is it an internet connection problem? Or is the host intentionally killing the game? Anything I can do to prevent this? It’s about 15% of games I play with others (not AI).

Good game but needs new features

NoReviewsWritten

It’s a fun game with great potential. However there are things that would be nice to have: 1. Continue gaming with the same players 2. Friend system (chat, invite to game, spectator) 3. Change seat in wonder selection page 4. Bigger icons (I know it’s kinda hard to do but the icons are hard to see on small iPhones) 5. Make the game compatible on systems other than iOS to increase the player base

Can only give 1 star for now

kareemkk

I am a couple minutes into the tutorial where it is telling me i can swipe down to view another civilization’s resources. This feature does not work. I am on an iPhone SE. thanks!

Nice board game adaptation missing a few features

ace apertura

I like the real board game a lot more but the app is quite nice too. What its missing is local network and pass and play. That would make it more entertaining. It also doesnt work well on small screens. Swiping through the cards should make this game playable on an iPhone.
