Good, but needs improvement

The tutorial needs to better explain scoring and the game needs to better show how totals were arrived at. In addition, it would be nice to be able to slow down the action and see what moves the AI players are making.

Not the complete game

Just wondering if the developer is going to make the game complete? Many of the wonders are left out as well as the cards.

This is actually a great adaptation of the board game to a table-based app format. However, it’s buggy as hell. There are massive problems with scoring: - The leaders do not score properly. For example, if the leader provides 1 victory point for each blue card, these points are not calculated - End of game scoring indicates a 12, but if you look at the cards and manually score them, you will get a different number. More often than not, this happens with yellow cards. Great interface and mechanics, but there’s a lot of work to be done.

Favorite game to play on a plane

This is one of my favorite games to play on an airplane without WiFi. I don’t really care if it isn’t “complete.” Thank you and good work.

Lack of pass-and-play makes this game useless to me

I buy digital board games to play at home with my family, not with random people online who create offensively-named games in the online lobby. Every other digital board game I have ever purchased has a pass-and-play mode, but not this one. The AI seems decent, and the art looks great, but without local play options, this was $5 completely wasted.

Asynchronous 2 player game play with a specific friend? Where is it?

Just a hint in improving your nice app and why I haven’t played it since I purchased it when it came out———>Most players want to play a private game with their friend online in an ASYNCHRONOUS mode. I know there is a minimum of three players for 7 wonders, but please look at the Le Havre board game app and the way they let you play with a specific friend and add a bot or two, in a glorious asynchronous mode (meaning there is no timed rush to make your next move). That game is almost flawless in app design, ditto with the Puerto Rico, Ticket To Ride, Carcassonne and Istanbul board game apps. You’re up there with a quality app for such a great game, but you have to make it easy and fun for the customer to enjoy.

Brand new, found bug

Just purchased and played 3 games to see how I liked it. I added the leaders and cities expansion. I think on my second game I played using the Babylon board side B and noticed an issue with it. I played the 2nd stage of the wonder which allows you to play your final two cards at the end did the round instead of discarding one. It only let me do this at the end of the third age but I played that part of my wonder in the first age so I should’ve gotten to play my final card all the ages.

Am I the only person here. It’s telling me to swipe down in the tutorial and nothing happens. It’s just stuck and doesn’t let me continue with the tutorial.

Let me be clear, I love the 7 Wonders app. It’s fast, it’s smooth and polished and it’s just a lot of fun. It’s also one of the best board game implementations on the App Store, in my opinion. There’s one problem, and I’d hoped it would be updated, but so far it hasn’t so I’ve actually dropped my score from 5 Stars to 4 Stars. The fact that there is no pass & play functionality is just unforgivable in a game such as this. It’s the same thing that Colt Express suffered from and it really needs to be added to bring this back up to a 5 Star rating. As it is, it’s worth your money and time, and while the game has been updated for the better since its initial release, this is still the one glaring issue that I see missing. Please Repos give us pass & play!
