Stop Changing the Format!

The latest (January 2022) format change is terrible! If you want to refresh the look of the game, that’s fine. But you totally destroyed the functionality by making the answer boxes WAY TOO SMALL!

Not pleased with new format , preferred the older one. Also the week of 12/27 puzzles I had completed and now check marks are missing and has frozen.Why?

Stop and think about it, if someone needs the clue's type to be that large, how can they see the cramped, small choices squished down at the bottom. Very bad and unappealing design. Also, the first day I used the newly redesigned app, I got an"un-muteable" ad. It's totally unacceptable to have ads with sound that can't be muted running in many situations. I chose DELETE.

Hints now cost $$$$!

Frustrated User Name

I love this game but the changes to the hints feature is too expensive. I like the improved options for hints, but a monthly fee or paying for a bundle of hints is too costly. Please consider reinstating the unlimited hints I previously had or allowing for people to earn hints based on successes or other criteria.

If it were possible to “hate” a game, then this new version meets the criteria. The new version is too crowded. The old version had larger lettering. I feel like we’re heading to ads in order to have the old style. I’ll check back periodically but I won’t waste my time with this silly remake!

Why change a good thing?

I work on this every night and have enjoyed it very much. The latest edition leaves me cold and I probably will not play it anymore. Why screw up something that was very good?

The new format is horrible. Please change back to the old format or similar. Hard to see the letters comprising the answers. Thank you.

New Layout Hard to Play

I try hard not to be someone who immediately hates all changes to games I’m used to playing. We all managed to survive the last major change to this game’s format. However, this most recent update is truly dreadful. The hints got larger (why?) but the part of the game we actually have to interact with got significantly smaller and closer together. It is now much harder to “see” the word parts and to distinguish among them. I hope that you take the many comments about this update to heart and respond accordingly.

I dislike the new update so much I’m deleting the app and I had paid for the version without the ads !!! This is awful. Makes it 100 times more difficult to see/find clues. Poorly designed.

I love playing this game. But recently they changed the graphics of the game. Now the clues are printed big on top and the word blocks are squished way down low, where it’s harder to separate them out to form a word. I still like playing but I do not like the changes!!! The word blocks need to be bigger and the clues printed smaller!
