Reviews

First version from years ago was perfect
joe joe 1957

It has steadily grown worse with each improvement. All the images are splotchy.

Low quality
Tydence

It worked well years ago. But, the quality hasn’t kept up with the iPhone cameras. It looks like it was shot with a 3g.

They own your photos
Sanfog

It seems impossible to get your 360 photos out of the app to anything but their servers. I want to be able to view, save, and export my pictures taken with this app not share some advertisements with friends. Avoid this company.

Crashes when trying to share to camera
mDevereaux

No longer uploads on iOS 13.2... waiting for an update to fix
PolacMac

So don’t update if you need 360 to work.

grateful for this imperfect app
Dominicvine

when this app first came out i loved showing it to people as an example of what the iphone could do it’s still very impressive and the imperfections of this mode of 360° photography is quaint because it is no longer necessary. it’s not “the best” algorithm out there . . . but it’s imperfection allows you to exploit it in uniquely creative ways. . . layering people’s faces all over the sphere, cutting up the scene, causing people to float in whatever context you place them. it’s great fun to be able to be creative. . . or just capture a moment: i’ve been using this almost a decade. . . I've got about 300 captures with it that are in my account here. i love it. try it out and play with it. there is a lot you can do with it beyond the obvious. thanks creative team!

Needs update

Needs a renewed look.

Don’t waste your money

This does a terrible job of splicing photos together. I started with a simple 360 of my bedroom. I stood in the same position and captured all angles. The image had overlapping spliced images and was extremely blurry. Can’t believe I honestly just spent money on this.

Lost years of photos
Dude0u812

(Updated review) This uses a proprietary document format, and the ONLY way to backup data is through their proprietary cloud NOT iTunes. Not a fan of signing up for more proprietary clouds as I don’t have a lawyer on retainer to read all the Terms and Conditions for each. Often there are privacy implications and digital contracts are radically changed without any notice. Just offer an iCloud sync and be done with it. As for the program, it’s awesome, has gotten a lot quicker over the years. Only wish I had all the pictures I took and have now lost due to the backup issue.

Worthwhile!

Enjoyable app for assembling panoramas...it’s nice to remember what it was really like to be in a certain place.
