Don't buy many apps, this was worth it

lauragirl88

As the title says, I'm almost strictly a free app girl but this one struck me as worth the risk. While vacationing in Paris, I wanted a way to create full 360 images that could capture the sky, ground, and 360 of where I stood. My idea was to share this on Facebook with family back in the states and use Facebook's 360 feature to show them Paris through my eyes. The app is not perfect but it does so exactly what I wanted it to do. You need to move slowly and start in the area you want the light to be correct in as it doesn't auto adjust very well. Again, move slowly. It took a 2-3 trial and error shots to get the movement right. You'll also want to use the social upload feature built in, it isn't perfect but you'll get the 360 feature perfectly every time. There is a save to film room feature but those photos don't appear to upload correctly as 360s when done that way. The app created itself a folder on Facebook to dump the photos which was perfect for me as I didn't want me feed clogged with them.

Cool device for trip

Wish there was an option to export files into graphic and animation software, but it's cool to show other where you been

Lacking In Important Areas

On the plus side, the accelerometer-based panorama viewing is fantastic. It helps you really feel like you are in the environment. The downside is that it does a poor job of stitching images, always making enormous errors. As this is the actual point of a panorama app, and Apple's own camera does a better job, I have to say it is less than average quality.

Simple to use, great results.

Used it for a couple years. Deb team continues to improve. Pay attention to their tips.

Pretty good

I find this app to be pretty darn good. I mean it does what it says it's gonna do and does it in an easy enough fashion that doesn't leave you confused or wondering how to do it. I like it for that and the photos it has stitched together for me. Thank you!!!!

Someone Update This PLEASE

pleaseporfavor

It's such a good app but sadly it's been forgotten. All this needs is minor tweaks to be awesome. Maybe they were ahead of their time when they developed it but now is the time to make it great.

Very decent app

RyTheGuy-er

Although this app is not perfect, there isn't much to complain about. The pictures sometimes come out a little messed up, but the overall outcome is pretty good. I also have just started using this app, and might have to experiment with it more first. One thing that would be nice is if it was compatible with the google cardboard. I had to spend an extra 99¢ for a separate app to view them in VR. If that was added, this probably would be a 5? app, for its price.

Crap resolution, horrible stitching.

N0GREY

Every time I use it I'm disappointed. Resolution is terrible. Stitching is terrible, overall resolution and quality of finished product: Terrible. I've had it. For 3 years now and it never fails to disappoint.

Been Creating 360° Panoramas Since 2014

joebeebee

Anytime I've wanted to capture the feel of a place I've used 360° Panorama to do that for me. It's not perfect, but it's gotten the job done for me. A lot of memories are being stored via my 360° images.

Tripod mount?

CJfoto

I also love this app. But I have a question. Some times the stitching doesn't connect all the edges correctly. That is because the center of phone camera lens does not pivot around it's self. So each image is taken at a different angle. Using a tripod would be better, but the phone's camera lens is not centered over the center of the tripod. Do you recommend a tripod mount the corrects this problem? Thanks
