Easy

The David Polevoy

I don’t know what all the ruckus is about. But, I beat the game on my second game. Great game. I thought that I would beat it on my first try. I got to 1024 and had several lower tier tiles. But I beat it on my second try because I messed up on my first try?. This is a great game to practice how to strategize. I give 5/5.

Didn’t remove ads

I paid to remove ads and it didn’t happen. Love the game. Hate the ads. I thought $3 was enough for that to happen ha. Guess not

Ads are the worst!

EMP1987

These ads are the worst I have experienced on any game. It frustrates me so much that this is the only app I have ever bothered to review. I had this game on my phone with a different carrier and it was fine, they would have a silent ad before/after a game, and it was easy to exit out of. However, since I got my new phone on Verizon, the ads keep popping up all the time - before and after, as well as throughout the game. The worst part is that the ads pop up with full volume (despite my game settings being set to silent), and then it freezes with full volume for a sec while I frantically try to stop it. I didn’t have this issue when on TMobile so I am thinking the cell carrier has something to do with it, so I would strongly advise you to skip this game if you have Verizon.

Unable to silence ads

If you don't keep your phone on silent this game is a nightmare to open. It's always blasting some cheesy game music for whatever ad pops up.

I liked this game but recently it keeps crashing and restarting. I deleted the game and reinstalled it, but it hasn’t help.

So sad that such a great game is gone now

Good Game, Bad App

SuperAusten64

I like 2048. It’s a good game. But this app is not good. The ads are intrusive, and when you try to close the pop-up ones (which is a really bad idea in touchscreen games), they open the App Store page for the app promoted anyway. But my biggest problem is that through these ads, Ketchapp is profiting off of a free game that they don’t own. 2048 was independently developed and meant for everyone to enjoy for free. To find that the best version of the app on the App Store has ads (and intrusive ones at that) is disappointing. I turned off cellular data for this app and if you’re going to download it, I encourage you to do the same.
