Please bring back the category filter. Example: I search for "Moon". Before you could look at art, fashion, furniture with a connection to moon. Appreciate a timely update given this was in place a few months ago. I don't want to be forced to search by price which is what your app is doing now Also....your link to app support directs me to your watches page. Please advise how I contact app support.


Incredible resource pathetic service

1stdibs is a great resource for antiques, furniture and objets. The issue is they no longer allow you to communicate directly with the dealers — everything goes through them, negotiating, shipping etc. and their service is HORRIBLE. It’s basically like buying a Louis XVI console through Walmart. My suggestion is do your research there, and some googling — title of piece and location of store, and contact the dealer directly.


Crashes

It crashes every time I got to my followed searches. Which is all I really want to see. Very disappointing. Was hoping they would fix it but it has been happening for months and they haven’t fixed it.

You can’t choose FEDEX and the white glove delivery is a nightmare.. You must take delivery appointment Even if you don’t want appointment. Delivery date and hour is never respected and for example 10 am to 3 pm in the middle of the week. We prefer FedEx people we know already.

I beg of you to intently read my review. I do not normally write bad reviews because I understand that most companies are trying their best. But in this instance, I would not recommend 1stdibs to any person. Their customer service never answers your phone call but instead says that someone will call you back and never does. They will make excuse after excuse after as to why they didn’t deliver what they were supposed to. I beg of you to listen and read this email with the understanding that I don’t make it lightly. I will never use this company again and stress to all those reading this to never use this company. Not even once. I would give it zero stars if I could

You can trust all their venders for being the BEST. 1stbids has done all the vetting work for us. You can even negotiate prices for most of all the items. I have purchased a used Alexander McQueen clutch this year, asking price $700, the vender accepted my $380 bid. I also bought a 2.1 carat 1890s vintage diamond ring for my 10th wedding anniversary. The jeweler asked for $11k. We negotiated back and forth and purchased it for close to $8.5k. All the official paperwork and documents were included. I had it appraised at two different jewelers and it appraised for close to $12k. You can trust this site. I am remodeling my home and can’t wait to see what artwork, furniture, and decor I can bring home next.

I would use caution in dealing with this company! In March I ordered Chanel earrings. When I finally received them almost 2 weeks later, they were clearly not as represented. Scratches and tarnish on the metal. I immediately sent photos and video, and it was agreed that they were not as represented. I was told that the return would be arranged, because as a buyer with 1st dibs, you are not permitted to communicate with the seller directly. I received several communications apologizing for the delay of the return. In the meantime I disputed charge on my credit card. Months later ( May) I received a return shipping label. I responded immediately that I was out of the country for several weeks and would return the earring when I returned. In the meantime, the dispute period expired and without my knowledge my cc re-charged without my knowledge because the seller claimed item not returned. When I returned home, I immediately sent the damaged earrings back. It is August, I have not been refunded the $1225.00 I paid for the earrings. I have spent hours of frustration in conversations with 1st dibs, PayPal, and my cc company as they all blame each other. My last conversation with 1st dibs , I was assured (as I have been many times in the past) that they were working on the issue and I would hear back within a week. That was the first week in August. I still have not received my refund. No earrings , no cash. Please do not purchase from 1st dibs !!
