great site. simple to use but elegantly thoughtful

i really enjoy this site. i find very unique items in whatever category i decided to address that day. i have found one of a kind famous artists works for reasonable prices and brand new artists with loads of talent for very little so there really is something for everyone on this site. i have had two bids fhag were won and once we got paypal to get it together te transaction was as easy as could be expected. not all items allow best offers similar to ebay but much less ridged and annoying. i have had great conversations over polite and artful negotiations. i don't have any complaints except that i don't have enough money to buy everything i want to buy on here !!

1st Dibs is a more upper class curated shopping resource that allows users to purchase fine art, furniture, fashion and jewelry from dealers. As a result the service is a bit more personal allowing you to make offers and speak with sellers directly. Users can use the app to shop for art by select well renowned artists, place furniture pieces in your space to get an idea in how it looks in a particular spot as well as filter shopping for other categories as well. The design itself is simple with a minimialist UI and a white background which makes it easy to browse for something you might be searching for.

At the moment a pair of chairs (the most beautiful I’ve ever seen) are out of my range. I hope it’s not always that way, but in the meantime, I can “collect” for my dream board, and save up for some truly great gifts. I would like to second the reviewer who asked for some tweaks: after looking at an item and then go back to continue browsing, I’d like to be sent to where I left off, not at the beginning of the list of 400 items, of which I’ve gone through 300. And the sign in does need to last longer and offer using my fingerprint. Other than that, magnifique!
