We are legit, deeply care about users’ privacy, can’t track and see what sites you visit.

We think 1Blocker is an essential app for anyone who uses Safari.

WHAT IS NEW IN 1BLOCKER X

1Blocker X is a complete overhaul of the original and widely popular 1Blocker (over 1.2 million downloads), thoughtfully redesigned with a perfect balance between simplicity and power. It was rewritten from scratch and comes with a new enhanced list of filters.

• The first Safari content blocker with over 120,000 rules.
• Regional adblock rules for specific countries.
• User-friendly editor to create your own custom rules.
• Touch ID / Face ID protection.
• Completely new design.

WHY DO YOU NEED 1BLOCKER

- Block annoying ads (adblock) -
Ads have become a total disaster on many sites by ruining the browsing experience. No one likes to see ads that pop over the entire screen.

- Save battery, data and time -
Independent tests by Wirecutter, NY Times, and BrooksReview confirm that 1Blocker cuts data loaded by sites on average by over 50%.

- Protect yourself online -
Many corporations track your behavior and what sites you visit. Online ads are not safe and may serve you malware even on major sites like Forbes and Yahoo.

- Improve your productivity -
Besides ads, webpages often contain distracting elements (like “You Might Also Like” and subscription boxes) that disturb your workflow and productivity.

HOW IS 1BLOCKER BETTER THAN OTHERS

We believe 1Blocker is better than anything else available. Here is why:

• We don’t make deals with advertisers.
• We don’t and technically can’t track our users.
• We have no customer data to sell.
• We are bootstrapped and self-funded. No investors. Made by a tiny two-person team.

EFFICIENT BLOCKING

While most other adblock apps block content by filtering elements of an already downloaded page, 1Blocker uses Safari content blocker technology (API) to tell Safari in advance what should be blocked. This vastly improves efficiency, doesn’t slow down Safari, and saves battery life.

LOVED BY OVER 1M CUSTOMERS

1Blocker has been featured in The New York Times, TechCrunch, Lifehacker and many more.

• I like 1Blocker enough that I’ve stopped thinking about ad blockers. - John Gruber, Daring Fireball.
• Must have app for all iOS users. - MacStories
• The best adblock for iPhone. - Lifehacker

Not working so good, still getting pop ups

There are still sites that get ads
Zanderpiano

Generally it's been great, but there are some sites that still show all of their ads. I checked the whitelist settings and I don't have any sites whitelisted anywhere so I'm not sure what's going on.

App does not work
hopeyourereadytodie

I installed this app with really high hopes. My browser has been toggling on its reader view, redirects web pages and several other really weird behaviors daily. The weird behaviors stopped for just one day. Today I was denied access to my mail and everything is toggled on. I purchased the full subscription hoping this would help to resolve the issue. Please update code and security policies. I would love to hold on to this app a bit longer. There are very few apps specific to the Safari browser.

Only a pay app - not worth it

Fantastic app!

Intuitive design - very easy to use. Even better, it’s an excellent ad blocker. I’ve tried many apps touting this ability, but this one works best!

Does not work for YoutTube

For the most part the app works great thank you. It would be awesome if it worked for YouTube. Should it work for YouTube?

Doesn’t work in YouTube anymore.

So, first off, the reason for the single star is because when I tried to contact customer service I tapped the “Send Feedback” button and the app told me email was “unavailable” so there doesn’t seem to be a way to get customer service. 1Blocker has worked perfectly for a couple of months on both my iPhone and my MacBook. Recently—within the last couple of weeks—YouTube ads are no longer being blocked. I’ve searched online for 1blocker help and web searches have come up empty on current issues so I can only guess that it’s only happening with me since there’s nothing on social media about it and all the recent app reviews seem to be glowing. Wouldn’t know, though, since I can’t get a hold of customer service. I pay for premium and I’ve check all the settings. I have no whitelists (currently) and everything has been enabled in the app and in safari settings on both the Mac and the iPhone. I have 1blocker solely for YouTube ads because it’s much cheaper than the $15 dollars per month YouTube wants. If there is any way to fix the issue and you are having the same issue, I have no idea how to fix it.

YouTube hasn’t been working for a couple weeks

Please fix. I will update my review once this is fixed. I pay for this app exactly for this reason - to have up to date ad blockers and for them to work. There are so many free ones out there, so I will unquestionably cancel my subscription soon unless this is fixed.

Doesn’t work.

No matter how I follow the directions I still get full video ads while browsing the internet on my iphone. I have paid for premium and wasted hours fussing with this waste of energy and money. Tried to contact 1blocker, says “email not available “.

Goodbye ads & annoyances!
Mickey Bo

When they say it’s the only ad blocker you’ll ever need, they ain’t kiddin’! I’m no longer bothered by intrusive ads and other commercial annoyances on my iPhone. It would be nice if the word “ad” didn’t appear to remind us they blocked one. This wasn’t originally the case. Also desirable would be for the app to compress the space where the ad was. However, I’ll take it.
