Love it

Great pacing and a user-friendly interface. It made running 6 miles seem doable!

Solid App

Update 06/18: why am I always restarting running?? This love/hate relationship with running. The wonky notifications continue with the half way notifications coming twice - Week 2 tone “you are half way” tone “Begin running” tone “your are half way.” Then at the end - tone “one more minute”...tone “one more minute.” Update 07/17: I like the app (really should anyone have to use this app as much as I do? Injury/laziness = stop running then lets go back to the app again. Notifications continue to be an issue for me. In week 1, you will hear the tone then voice tell you that you are half way (which throws me off because I started running), then tone again "Begin running," tone, "You are half way." This problem has continued into week 3 - it's not handling the placement of the half way indication with the next run. I've heard them so much, I know what to expect. If I lock the screen on the app then push the power button to turn off the screen, you will not hear audio notifications. If you lock the screen in the app and put your phone away and allow your settings to turn off the screen after your preset time, notifications work. Frustrating because it's habit for me to hit the power button to lock/turn off screen. If I lock the screen in the app and swap to my music app and lock with power button, notifications don't work. Mind you when you take the time to pull the phone BACK out, you will see all your missed notifications on the notification screen. Fix these issues and this will be lot better. Update 01/17: This is a solid app for anyone looking to do the C25K program (and beyond). I still haven't run with the watch again since I use my garmin to track runs to keep all my data. Now if y'all will figure out a way to stop asking if I like the app after every run session. ___ Previous Update: Good Gracious. I finally figured out the notification issue. Now for the watch issue. ____ I've tested lots of c25k apps. I thought this one was my favorite. Gave me the c25k program and beyond to 10k. Wasn't there a screen lock? It doesn't work in the background - I don't even have the option to make it work in the background. If I start the app and move to my music app, it stops prompting you. If I lock my phone, it stops promoting. It is be the app on the screen and active. Once in a while, I'll get the stray prompt, "you can starting walking." Huh? I was walking. Did I miss a run prompt? It messes with your brain when that happens. The app for the apple watch is worthless. It only refreshes when you lift your arm to look at the screen. I can't remember if I started it on my phone or watch, but the watch app completed the warm up countdown and then just stayed at zero. It never prompted for run or anything. So if it's not prompting with a little noise or vibration I can't use it since that is all its supposed to do.

Perfectly acceptable

For a beginner’s app which is what it should be used for, it is absolutely fine.

Good but lacks some key elements

Good app. The workout buildups are well thought out. It’ll help anyone starting out or getting back into running to build towards a goal. However, it does not link with Apple Health nor does it have some of the foundational elements runners look for (stat tracking). It’s pretty much a “run till the timer runs out” app.

Just Okay

I like the pacing this app has, but it's glitchy, isn't integrated with Spotify, fills up your notifications, and doesn't show your progress on the screen or tell the user which part of the running sequence they're in. It does, however, help me build up my stamina after running breaks injury free.

Do not waste money on PRO!

Like a previous reviewer shared, nothing about this app is worth spending on the PRO version. I purchased it to use with my Apple Watch but it won’t stay up, and I can’t do anything from my watch - pause, skip music, etc. it doesn’t connect with Apple Health or count as a workout. There are no maps, etc. Absolutely useless. I generally love the zenlabs apps and they are my go to for race training, but I am incredibly disappointed in this.

Room for growth.

This isn’t meant to be your one stop shop. As a coached tool for running improvement, this app is great. You need to push yourself to achieve the goals, but they’re doable. I’m glad I found the app. Con: time doesn’t run on lock screen.

Good app!

I’m using 10K Trainer Pro because it has C25K and B210K together in one app so I’m not having to switch apps after I finish C25K and move onto B210K. I like this app a lot. I am almost done with week 4, and I’ve gone from not being able to run a mile to being able to run a mile in 10 minutes and 28 seconds. I look forward to being able to do a full 5K soon and then moving onto training to run 10K!

10K is great!

I have used it for years with great results. Highly recommend.

Made a runner out of a hater.

I was never a runner. I hated running. This app changed that. It builds you up slowly so you can be successful.
