Not worth going Pro

ElCid2002

The trainer itself is great but other than eliminating the ads and skins (which I don't care about personally) what is the point of going pro? To get the watch integration. Unfortunately even the simple timer functions can't work without being tethered to the phone. This is the entire reason I upgraded. With a Plus phone I use my watch to listen to music while I run with the goal of leaving my phone at home to run outside. Nope. Can't do that. What's the point then? I don't know either. Would love to "return" and just use the free version.

Watch app Atrocious

MoreThanPlanes

The watch app is literally no more than a viewer of the time, as long as your watch is connected to the phone. No alerts, no functionality, and definitely no untethered use. Worthless to upgrade to paid app

Good app

Hardworkinmamma

Love this app, but not worth upgrading. No difference in this one and the free app

Great Motivator!

Motivation is the hardest part of running and this app keeps me focused on the short task.

Is this the same app?

Update: Good Gracious. I finally figured out the notification issue. Now for the watch issue. ____ I've tested lots of c25k apps. I thought this one was my favorite. Gave me the c25k program and beyond to 10k. Wasn't there a screen lock? It doesn't work in the background - I don't even have the option to make it work in the background. If I start the app and move to my music app, it stops prompting you. If I lock my phone, it stops promoting. It is be the app on the screen and active. Once in a while, I'll get the stray prompt, "you can starting walking." Huh? I was walking. Did I miss a run prompt? It messes with your brain when that happens. The app for the apple watch is worthless. It only refreshes when you lift your arm to look at the screen. I can't remember if I started it on my phone or watch, but the watch app completed the warm up countdown and then just stayed at zero. It never prompted for run or anything. So if it's not prompting with a little noise or vibration I can't use it since that is all its supposed to do.

I love this app! She's bossy but keeps you in line! "Begin running," "begin walking," "Begin cool down." :)

Awesome running app for beginners or people who need to get back into it again

Candiss

Great way to get back into running if you've come to a halt or you're in a slump. Every time I've fallen back to not running, I start doing this app again and it brings me back to my top running shape! Highly recommend it to anyone who's never ran before or has stopped. Easiest way to get back into it again!
