I do not like the slide rule change, I prefer to type in my amounts. Last version was WAY easier to get what i needed quickly.

New update is bad

I used this app for over two years and it was awesome. Now the update make it the worst app I have. All my saved calculations are missed up now!!

This had been a very useful and helpful app until this most recent update. You can no longer easily calculate for refiners, the toggles are too sensitive (the price moves by a few grand every time I lift up my thumb) and there is no option to simply input the data manually. This is no longer helpful.

Used to be very adequate worthy of at least 4 stars. Then someone decided to revamp it and now made it Impossible to work with. Sliding scale can never get the exact number and who knows the formula for % for taxes? Maybe in Ca only. Uggghh - Don’t break whats not broken! Remember, New Coke!??

I did a calculation as follows 392500 loan at 4.75%. Gave me a payment of 2024. Then I did on lenders site and got a completely different result which was higher.

I liked this calculator before. Do not like the down payment feature etc. Just need to input amount and term. Now I have to search for another calculator.

I used to love this app, but the update (5.7.2) totally ruined it. For starters, the new UI is unresponsive and awkward to use. Secondly, now taxes can only be inputted as a percentage of the home value as opposed to a fixed number. Time to find a different mortgage calculator. ***UPDATE*** It has been about three weeks and still no fixes for the “update.” I wish the developers would pay attention to the reviews, many of which are very critical of the redesign. Also, it seems that there are quite a few fake 5 star reviews that all appeared shortly after the app was updated (July 9-11)... very strange.

No longer a great app! I don’t typically write reviews, but here you go! The new version of this app is bad. Adding the bars makes it extremely difficult to enter information. Bad data in + Bad data out = uninstall. The average home price in the US is 188k, but the middle of the bar is ~900k. Ask your developers to enter a mortgage for say 50k let alone (50,800). It’s impossible! I find it hard to complain without providing a solution. Allow a button for fixed number entry and use the bars for adjusts. Might even consider a rest button back the original fixed numbers.

I used to use this mortgage calculator everyday, now with the update it’s just awkward to use that I don’t even use it anymore. Why do we have to put in the taxes as a % ???? You should make an option to go back to the older simple orange version that myself and all colleagues used to love!!!!
