This app is nothing but problems.

This app (almost) never works. Just upgraded my iPad Mini and now, although my library shows several issues are on my ipad, when I try to open one, I just get black screens! This is just the latest of many problems I have had. My recommendation: Find a different way to subscribe to Macworld, or don't subscribe at all!

IPad 3 OS 9x Disgustingly useless I paid but cannot read the magazine. No star. Fix this. No more please, I'm fed up.

I loved the print version - I read them all cover to cover- but was willing to give this a try. I don't know how many times I've had to "download" magazines to the app! Several times, I've opened the app - on a plane- to read an issue - only to discover its not there any more. This has happened more than once. This latest app update removed all my downloads. Sad...I will not continue after my subscription expires. Almost seems like the magazine had changed owners from people who always went above and beyond; to people trying to run this in the ground...as quick as possible.

Keeps asking me to pay for magazines, when I have a subscription. Logging in is forehead-slapping hard. Worst for me, it doesn't save your place while you're reading. If you close the app, you have to start at the beginning again and find your place. An app about the Mac doesn't have much authority when It can't handle it's own interface.

This app is terrible. The only way to download new issue is to log out, and then log in again every time. No real features, and very clunky. Prior app for accessing Macworld was much better.

Solved the missing issue problem: there is a different login for previous print subscribers. Now the problem is making blank pages appear. Tap on a page number in contents and you go to a blank page. Tapping on a page at the bottom of the display may display that page or may display a blank page.

Really hoping this gets fixed. Only the ads are showing when I view the magazine. The iPad app is great. The phone version needs some work.

I have subscribed for a number or years. At first, the app was well designed with a nice layout, active links and embedded video. Over time all of that has disappeared. All we are l eft with is the equivalent of an old style paper magazine. Need to spend some money on a developer to create an app worthy to carry the MacWorld name.

iPad version occasionally advances to blank pages or looses imbedded images. Usually backing up a page fixes things. Exiting and restarting works, even when the app does this on its own. Worth quirks to read MacWorld.
