I’m not commenting on the content. The app is poorly done. Downloaded issues consistently “disappear”, becoming blank white pages. “Signing in” to your Apple account (iTunes subscription) comes up again and again (previous iOS versions had the mysterious sign in box appearing even when the app was not running in front). Unfortunately doubt they have the support to fix it.

Have to jump through hoops just to view every month. Tech magazine that can't figure out how to make it work. Still HORRIBLE! Crashes now on top of all the problems deleting/reinstalling, calling the company. The worst!


Not working...again

This magazine is digital only & it’s not working at all! Have tried deleting & reinstalling, but nothing works. I think it’s time to call them & cancel my subscription.


Won’t run

Should be 0 stars since it doesn’t work. Transferred from a iPad 4 to a iPad 5th gen. Using iOS 11.4. Only the issue that had not been previously downloaded could download. All other previous issues were dead. Reloaded the app and now it won’t work at all. App runs, switches back to home screen leaving app in background. Select app and the cycle repeats. Deleted app, restarted iPad, downloaded app, same result.


Magazine content good, but terrible app

It’s ironic when the fans of the best iOS system can’t write a functional app. The app constantly bombs, and when it works, it logs me out and I can’t download issues easily. Just terrible.

I have had this subscription for years. I can no longer get the app to open. Crashes a fret the splash screen. New download of the app as well as hard resets for the iPad do not help. This app has become a piece of junk. I called Macworld, was told it was apple’s problem since it was billed via iTunes. He hung up when I informed him I was rating the app with 1 star.

I’ve had this subscription for years but now the app will not open, crashes immediately. No response from app developer, Apple should refund the annual subscription fees. DO NOT BUY UNTIL FIXED.


App refuses to open

It's always been fussy, but at some point in the last couple weeks, the app decided to stop working. It launches with a dialog box asking if I want to restore old issues. Within a couple seconds, regardless of what I press in the dialog box (or if I press nothing at all), the app crashes. Over and over and over. Like the other reviewers in the last few weeks, I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app, doing hard boots, etc. of my iPad and I still can't get the app to show me the magazines I've paid for. I'm running the latest iOS so there's really no excuse. Oh...emailing customer service yields no response. Apparently they don't care.

On my iPad and iPhone. Can’t read anything. Crashes right after starting. Developers need to fix this ASAP or issue refunds to subscribers. You’d think a tech magazine would know how to make an app....
