The water's great! – Blowfish Meets Meteor: A Brick-Breaker Adventure Review

I saw the post-mortem for this game on Gamasutra and decided to check it out. It may be "just a block-breaker", but the three years it spent in development really show. Nice graphics and a complete lack of ads and IAPs are just the icing on the cake. Every level brings a new twist: in addition to breaking blocks, you'll set dynamite, crush piranhas, and sink a fire-breathing pirate ship, all in world one! It's got some small quirks - I wish it was easier to move the paddle without my finger hiding it - but if it keeps up this level of inventiveness I won't mind a bit.
