It's basically just brick breaker with a plot twist. It's rather entertaining but it needs some minor modifications such a as more lives. Fun to play.

Please add a sensitivity adjustment setting in options. I find the guy to lag when fine tuning his position relative to the ball. Causes some lame missed balls. Also, the delay when the ball hits a brick bothers me. Not sure if it's just me, but it throws off the timing. More fluid gameplay would be ideal.

I saw the post-mortem for this game on Gamasutra and decided to check it out. It may be "just a block-breaker", but the three years it spent in development really show. Nice graphics and a complete lack of ads and IAPs are just the icing on the cake. Every level brings a new twist: in addition to breaking blocks, you'll set dynamite, crush piranhas, and sink a fire-breathing pirate ship, all in world one! It's got some small quirks - I wish it was easier to move the paddle without my finger hiding it - but if it keeps up this level of inventiveness I won't mind a bit. Very well done. However, two features I wish it had; the ability to skip the animation at the end of a level so I can get back to the map quicker, and a next button when completing a level so I don't HAVE to go back to the map.

Good game, fun setting - slightly let down by a bit sluggish UI and game screen layout issues like your thumb blocking main character when camera zoomed out. Small issues, definitely worth playing!
