Inconsistent, not true to phonemes – Phonics Studio Review

I'm an SLP and just looking at the medial /p/ position they included the words "telephone", "dolphin" and "trophy". If you're working on medial /p/ these should NOT be included, they are /f/ sounds! Come on, how basic is that? Also, they have a section for blends in which they include /pt/ but these same words are in the "core" medial /p/ section. If you customize and take them out, you're left with precious few words, and some, although we like to increase vocabulary, are quite obscure such as "tapir". If you're going to break it down to positions, please be consistent to the "core" position. It's hard enough to get some kids to produce the phoneme around vowels, don't make them do it in a blend in the core section! Please fix or I will have to delete.
