Works – Point & Measure Review

This app works. It really does. It can be accurate to a couple of inches over short distances (I haven't tested it on longer distances). But you have to mess with the calibration and the lens height to make it work right. Instead of setting the lens height to the actual height of the lens above the ground, take a measurement of the distance you're using, then change the lens height to match that distance. I had to set the lens height to 6'7" and I'm only 5'8". But it gives accurate results now. A really neat concept that does mostly work, though not quite as advertised.
