Great – Kindergarten Learning Games! Review

Having 3 nieces and a nephew makes it so when they are around I have no clue where my phone goes if I set it down. I don’t have a problem with them using it as long as they don’t text my friends random things or call anyone, but they do this all the time. The apps that I have on my phone were not fun for them (I’m studying for the MCAT so yea I wouldn’t expect children to understand how to play with organic chemistry flashcards, lol). I downloaded the Abby - Toys Train - Learn Toys app so they will have something to do when they decide to take my phone hostage. They all love it! The Abby character is so adorable, speaks slow enough and clear which is great because one of my nieces has a hard time understanding speech when it is spoken fast. This app is great for learning because it asks the children a question; they answer it by clicking the toy Abby asked for. It’s also great that it has the question Abby asked written on the top. Like most children my nieces and nephew’s attention can go from A to B and then back to A in 5 seconds, so when they did not hear what Abby asked they try to read what is at the top (I even get to help them learn to read by helping out). The stickers that can be won when the kids answer questions correctly gets them so excited (they get like me telling everyone when I get a new Yelp badge). The game can get more challenging as the options allow you to add more toys to the display that the children have to choose from. The game also gives you options to stop the music or the sounds, but of course I was never successful at keeping that down for too long as my nieces/nephew love hearing it as they play. I would recommend this app to anyone who has/are around children that love to play around on your phone!!!
