I enjoyed this game, although it was too short – Crimson: Steam Pirates Review

This was an enjoyable, well-designed game. The back story added a great deal to keeping the player deep into the game. The characters were fun and interesting, and each level was a new mini-adventure for the pirate and his crew. I only have a couple of complaints about this game. The first, and biggest, complaint is the length of the game. I was able to finish all three chapters in one and one-half days. And given that the second two chapters required additional purchases, that was mildly annoying. My second complaint was how rigid the gameplay was. If you lose a ship, the level is lost and you must begin again. It seems to me that the game should continue with the player trying to finish with fewer ships. In any case, I really enjoyed playing this game. I'm going to go back and try to better my score.
