Price gauging at its best – Uber - Request a ride Review

I like taking Uber because it’s convenient but lately these prices are unbelievable! I refuse to pay $68-$75 for a ride that’s normally between $14-$18 because it’s busy. Yes I know I have the option to decline it which I do and I wait 5-10 minutes for the price to drop down but these are rough times everywhere for everyone and to raise the prices because of a surge in the area is ridiculous not to mention the poor drivers may only get $20 of the $68-$75. Another issue is that they say it’s busy and they have no cars available and 3 minutes later it’s cars available but that’s where the prices are extremely high. I want to continue to use Uber but not if they trying to sell you a $14 ride for $60!!
