Used to be great but… – Kik Messaging & Chat App Review

So, I liked Kik almost as much as I liked Skype and probably more than AIM… but at this point I think I’m reporting a new spam bot almost every day. Between that and the ads and stuff… I think I’m going to convince the 1 person I still talk to on here to switch to something else with me and finally delete this. There’s really nothing it provides that another instant messaging app doesn’t, and Kik doesn’t do anything better than the others, either. It’s just objectively worse at this point, with all those spam bots and ads.
