App review – Plex: Watch Live TV and Movies Review

This review is strictly for the ios app. Holy whiplash Batman. You will be shocked and impressed momentarily before immediately wanting to throw your phone across the room over the course of using this app. Most of the time it works pretty good, the player controls on the Lock Screen work slightly less than Spotify or google home but that’s not bad for a small team. However any time anyone updates anything expect it to break and break badly. And I mean anyone, you could do a small patch to a productivity software on a device you’ve never even used to stream and that will ruin plexus day and therefore yours. This is not the app to rollout to your family if you want something you can set and forget. I also have the android version on a few devices and I genuinely don’t understand why the iOS version is such a mess. These devs should start by setting an RSS feed with keywords such as iOS update so they can maybe stay abreast of changes.
