great fasting app – Zero: Fasting & Health Tracker Review

update: the weight loss graph suddenly disappeared. the weight loss graph! they took out the one way you could track your weight-loss within an app that, in part, is designed to help you lose weight. really hope this was a glitch. i was approaching one full year since i started and was excited to take screenshots of my progress from the zero graph, and now i can’t. very reliable app. i’ve used it as a tool to help keep me accountable and structured. the results have been nothing short of remarkable for me, and i truly can see myself maintaining fasting as a part of my lifestyle indefinitely. i enjoy what this app offers at the basic level, and i don’t need more than that. i’d like to think most people wouldn’t either. however, i do feel like the app could improve in areas such as reflecting the data it takes from my iphone health app. for example: i track my sleep every night, yet Zero reflects that i get 0.9 hours of sleep on average (lol) i also exercise daily and Zero reflects a whopping 0 minutes of average active minutes. Before you can suggest—yes, i’ve verified that all the data is linked appropriately. if there’s a reason beyond my understanding as to why this is, i’d need to be made aware. as for Zero+, the paid membership, i wouldn’t be opposed to checking out what it could have to offer but A) i cannot justify the price ($70/year) and B) there’s not a reasonable amount of length that a free-trial offers (i feel a free 30-day trial would be appropriate; they offer seven). i would like to hope that perhaps the yearly membership would drop in price by $25 or so, but capitalism means prices only ever go up, not down. so i will not hold my breath on that lol. otherwise, i have and will continue to recommend this app to fasting newbies & enthusiasts.
