Quality is *very* location dependent. – Dark Sky Weather Review

Where I used to live, Dark Sky was great. It did a great job of saying when it would rain (down to the minute, many times) and I recommended it to all my friends. In my current location, it stinks. As an example, we have a winter storm coming in 2 days with lots of snow. DS says it's going to rain (not snow), and its forecasted temperature never gets below 36. It also says we will get 3-6 inches of snow. This is just the most recent example of its precipitation forecasts being way off the mark and logically inconsistent. Quite frequently it will say “rain for the hour” when it doesn’t rain at all. In short: When it’s good, it’s quite good. But it’s not always good. If I had only used it here, I’d give it one star.
