Final fantasy 14 has the most needlessly convoluted log in of any video game ever made. If you ever have the misfortune of forgetting your password for the FFXIV launcher, say goodbye to getting it back. You need to log in to an account management system to change the password on the launcher, but to log in to the account management system you need to know your password and also have this SPECIFIC Authenticator, rather than using Google’s. Absolutely horrible.
