Could not stay because covid positive and can’t get refund – Expedia: Hotels, Flights & Car Review

I had a 2 night reservation and got a positive covid test the day of check in so I was unable to stay. Expedia won’t refund me, and the hotel also won’t since I booked through Expedia. It has been difficult enough dealing with covid positive case and other travel related nightmares. I expect more from Expedia to support their customers during this time.
