Buggy and mostly unuseable – Infinite Painter Review

The brushes are great, but if you decided to just paint on one layer, using no adjustment layers, filters, or anything, I STILL can't see you enjoying this app. The color picking tool does not work properly. Whenever I try to pick something on a layer below, it always makes the color lighter. If something as simple as a COLOR PICKER does not work properly, the app is not worth buying. Merging, editing, and even adding adjustment layers can make your art a total mess. The undo feature doesn't register these actions and if you try to undo, it won't get rid of the layer-related changes. I really wanted to push through these issues because I thought Infinite Painter was the only app on the app store with adjustment layers (it isn't), but its really not worth it. In addition, it feels like this app is easier to crash than other popular art applications available on the app store. Don't even THINK about drawing in 4K resolution for an extended period of time with multiple adjustment layers, because the app will crumple at the slightest mention of it. The "Rewind" function on the liquify tool is also unusable. It DOES NOT work as an undo. Its just a slower restore and ends up popping everything you changed back to its original form all at the same time. I'm sorry if I sound snappy, but these issues have resulted in me being completely unable to complete art pieces in this app. Drawing on this app is miserable. Its such a waste that so many good brushes are available on a program this buggy. Just get Artstudio Pro. It has all the same tools and doesn't have nearly as many problems.
