It’s a good app that needs some polishing – MotorTrend+: Watch Car Shows Review

I mean, it’s Motor Trend… the content is great. The app on the other hand, needs some polish. It’s difficult to find the shows that I’m looking for, though once I find the show the episode lists are easy enough to navigate through. My main concern is with how the app handles casting/airplay from an iPhone to my tv. It’s easy enough to get it connected, but the app drops the connection as soon as the phone goes to sleep. Once that happens, the video quality goes back to 1990’s spec and the transport controls on the tv remote don’t work well. When that happens, I have to hunt though the app for the ‘continue watching’ link and re-pair the phone. I really look forward to not having to revert to my YouTube TV app when I want to get my Motor Tend fix. Thanks, gang!
