Terrible delivery service, reps and multiple charges – DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse Review

It’s been a while since I ordered online from DSW. I ordered a pair of boots 12/22/21 and I didn’t receive it until 01/06/22. First, normally they kept you updated on when it was shipped and track shipment information they did not with this order. Secondly, I called several times because I had two pending charges from DSW, the first time I spoke to someone they said one was a pre-authorization charge and the second charge the week following is the actual charge so I had two of the same charges pending for over a week which did not make any sense. Then the first person I spoke to said if I don’t receive my item by the next day I can cancel the order because they said it was shipped and it’s in route. I called the next day because I still have two pending charges and no merchandise so the next person I spoke to said I can’t cancel the order because it’s in route I told them well on the app it states it’s still processing and there isn’t any information on when it was shipped, the person I spoke to the day before said it’s supposed to be received by that day. This was a week later since I ordered my item. To sum up the story I spoke to 3 different people who gave me the run around (12/28-12/30) and lied about it was shipped already when it wasn’t because the day they actually shipped it was on January 1, 2022 and when I received it the shoe box was pretty much destroyed. Terrible experience and their customer service people are terrible from the online chats to calling in. If I go through that one more time I won’t even bother ordering online.
