Very Helpful Tracker!! Some Minor Improvements Could Make It Even Better – Migraine Buddy: Track Headache Review

I’ve had chronic migraines for years and only recently sought out help from a neurologist who recommended this app. I only use the free version but I still find it incredibly useful and user friendly. At first I was overwhelmed with all the different things you can record during a migraine attack, but I realized you can modify what information you want to keep track of and tailor it to what’s important for to you. Personally I like the research articles and community information this app shares and it’s been very informative on what may be impacting my migraines. There are a few things I wish the app could streamline or adjust: 1. When recording notes during a migraine, there’s a button that auto populates the time and date with phrases like “I took this drug:” It would be nice if after hitting that button you could select an option from the list of meds usually recorded in the Medication section. (The less typing during a migraine attack the better!) Similar things could be done for pain scales with number pop ups and so on. 2. In the summary section for pain onset location it would be nice to be able to visualize this data better. I think a heat map superimposed on the diagram used when recording this information during an attack would be helpful. Especially if someone (life myself) selects multiple locations for where the pain onset occurs. 3. The calendar section of the records menu could be improved by making it more customizable. It currently shows length of attacks, severity of attacks, and sleep duration. Personally I would like to see at a glance what days I used a certain medication. Making the calendar more customizable would also be helpful in relaying information at doctor appointments. Overall the app is really great at tracking and giving you data/insights on your migraines. I appreciate the app trying to improve and help the community of migraine sufferers. Many thanks to Migraine Buddy team!
