Apple Watch app is always on – Map My Ride by Under Armour Review

I’ve been using the app with my Apple Watch for the past year and it was working well. However with either the recent Apple Watch update or Map My Ride update, I can’t get the app on the watch to shut off. I try to turn it off but it pops right back open automatically on my watch screen without my having selected it. It’s also eating up my battery. I had to delete it from the Watch. What’s up with this?
