BirdFlex unrecognized as "Private Bird", can't scan QR code either – Bird — Ride Electric Review

I purchased a BirdFlex scooter three days ago, and I'm unable to scan the QR code that came with the scooter itself. I also do not see my scooter listed under the "Private Birds" section in the app.
