What a GREAT app!! – Birdhouse - for Autism Review

So I was fortunate enough to be a member of the beta test group for this application. I believe about a year ago I responded to a survey on a special ed site and some time later the owners of Birdhouse contacted me to see if I wanted to test drive the product. Being a parent of a little cutie with autism, I've tried many ways to track behaviors, sleep habits, interventions, medicines, etc. So I was excited to find a tool that would let me do all of that in one place! The tool doesn't provide some mystical magical answers behind my son's sleep disturbances, behaviors. What is DOES provide is a place to keep all of the data I was collecting and a place to analyze this data for patterns. For example, about 1 month into tracking data on my son's supplements and sleep habits, he had a resurgence of his night-wakings. I looked back through the data and realized that for some reason we had decreased his 5HTP (supplement to assist in keeping him asleep during the night - basically melotonin's cousin). Some miscommunication between hubby and I resulted in a decreased dosage. I would never have known what the problem was if I didn't have the data all in one place to review. Anyway, I think this app is a GREAT tool for parents. Created by parents of a kid on the spectrum? Doesn't get better than that!!! Thanks guys!
