Poor performance. Getting much worse. – MLB Review

I have updated this review countless times because nobody is doing anything to fix it. It’s actually getting worse. To summarize my conclusion, this app is useless. It provides nothing that you can’t get elsewhere. Actually, it is worse than useless because the data feed is often down so you only get error messages. 10/23/21 No box score! This app is an embarrassment. Just being kind. Renewing my MLB.tv subscription? No chance. It’s a shame because a good baseball app would be worth it. This one isn’t. 9/15/21 This app has gone from bad to incredibly worse! Now, every time I try to use this, I get “Could not load data Refresh.” Sometimes after several attempts to refresh, the app comes to life. Usually, it is quicker and easier to just go to the team page on MLB.com. Which makes me wonder, exactly why do I have this app? I can access the App Store to add this review but my MLB app is just a spinning wheel. Go figure. Of all my apps, and I have several, this is the single most underperforming app on my iPhone and iPad. I will always be a baseball fan but this app is not for baseball fans. For example, the Dodgers and Giants in extra innings in a big game for the West and I can use every app but this one. Inexcusable. Why do I even try? MY REVIEW: Take a look at all the reviews. At one time, this app deserved, and received, higher scores but with each update it just keeps getting worse. I figure you get what you pay for so I’ve tolerated it. However, since adding a subscription to MLB.tv, this app is no longer a freebie and I couldn’t be more disappointed. What’s the use of MLB.tv when you only get a spinning circle? Strong 5G connection or wifi, it makes no difference. I can see the app is tracking me but the app (at best) gives me an error message and says it can’t determine my location. Obviously, they are lying or they are totally incompetent. I’m pretty sure it’s both. This app is rich in data mining malware but poor in performance. DEVELOPER’S RESPONSE I received an email that said, “MLB responded to your review...please respond to us through this form.” which was a link to a website. Really! The developer has my contact information, so they should just respond! Sending me to a website which asks me for MORE PERSONAL INFORMATION is not a response. It’s data mining when the requisite questions have nothing to do with my complaint. MY RESPONSE TO THE DEVELOPER Dear MLB Developer, Go to Google.com and, when prompted, enter “how to treat stake holders” then press “search.”
