So Very Disappointing – Satur8 Review

You have absolutely *no* idea just how badly I wanted to love this app. I am a photographer and artist who does a lot of work on the iPad and just adore the Decim8 app. This shows great promise, but IMO it shouldn't have been released at this stage for several reasons. There is apparently no way to access the help once you go through the first little tutorial. Somehow I managed to make my gradient fields extremely thin and for the life of me I can't figure out how to widen them again, though I can apparently add about a million new fields trying to figure out how to widen the existing ones (btw, I used to write software manuals for a living, so this really shouldn't be this difficult for someone like me to figure out). The app desperately needs a proper undo button, especially since I'm forced to use an iPhone app on my iPad, shaking to undo is not in the least bit acceptable. Unfortunately I didn't even get to the stage where I could save anything so I cannot speak to the resolution of saved images, but the resolution in the app itself is really bad. There are other issues as well, but if you fix these you'll be well on your way to one helluva app and an immediate and much improved rating from me. Personally, I cannot wait until I have reason to add more stars.
