Coding Blues – GlitchMachine Review

For those without a code background, like me, this app is difficult and there is limited info on the web. The developer's tutorial is enough to give an idea of how to make sounds. Check the comments of this section for another tutorial that gives examples of code that works pretty consistently. Keep in mind some of the code you write will yield different results on iPhone and iPad. The best advice I can give is find code that works and use the value and function morph buttons that look like aliens to come up with other sounds and sequences. Also the option to toggle between lines being active and inactive yield interesting results. This app is recommended if you have the patience to write a bunch of garbage knowing eventually you'll find something good or you have enough coding know how to figure out how to use this efficiently and tweak your programming. The capability of this app is amazing, the lack of good tutorial resources keep it from being perfect.
