Good VPN but need better client app – Astrill VPN Client Review

The VPN is fast enough for user to watch YouTube and work on light tasks in China. It also provides all platform client apps. On Mac it seems using different tech than other VPN brands that it will not trigger Mac’s system VPN setting. The connection thus is faster than some opponents. However the VPN app seems outdated for a long while. One of the biggest bug bothering me is the “auto reconnect” feature. It will by the words, auto reconnect the VPN once drops, however it will also force reconnect even you want to manual stop it. I have the fight against this mechanism and clicking setting fast enough to disable this feature when I want to stop. I think this feature need some logic improvements to be the best.
