Keeps losing gps heading and speed – Navionics® Boating Review

Well this has been a very frustrating app to use on an iphone 12 pro. The app tracks my location no problem but will continually lose gps heading and speed, while it keeps track of where i am. If continuously turn off location services and then back on it will work for 5min and then stop again. I have gps enabled always for the app. It has no problem recording my entire trip, but because it keeps dropping gps heading and speed, i end up with a trip that traced accurately but with inaccurate total milage and speed
