Horrible billing and customer service – Astrill VPN Client Review

VPN service is good and reliable but the 2 star is for their billing and support. Renewed service for a year and realized after the fact that payment paid is different than invoiced amount. Astrill claimed that the extra charge is for VAT but can’t provide an invoice that says the extra amount is for VAT and refused to refund money and kept referring me to their NO REFUND policy. They also provided a very cryptic and impossible to understand description of how I can get out of paying for VAT but since that is after-the-fact and they void the transaction for me to redo, just puts a terrible, untrustworthy taste in my mouth. I would NOT recommend anyone to use Astrill if they need an invoice for reimbursement.
