Pool School ... sigh – Pool School Review

I thought this was a program (or an app) with some animation or capability to make practice shots because it belonged to a "game" category -- and even though the author obviously meant this to be a workbook companion the main text (since these days many "companions" are softwares), I thought this was one of those common software companion. But this turns out to be virtual sheets of paper/tables where you can jot down your own success/fail rate of your practice shots. One thing this "app" does in addition is explains the shots using diagrams. This may be somewhat helpful to novices as to what pools are there. But truly NOT WORTHY of my $2.99 IMHO when many useful apps are priced between $1 and $2. I was very disappointed but your opinion may differ. It should be clearly stated in the app description that this has NO animation or real programming involved; but this is virtually a stat sheet of your practices with explanation of pool shots. It would be a real improvement and worth the money if (1) the various pool shots are explained in detail (eg, to make a draw shot, one needs to hit the lower part of the ball, etc.), and (2) some animation would be included. I will try to contact the author. I want my $2.99 back.
