Installer crashed then windows explorer – MCE Remote Review

Wish I had read the other reviews before trying to install. The installer hung on my new Win8 desktop, and after forcing the installer to close in Task Manager, Windows Explorer crashed. I rebooted and will not be trying again. Hopefully it hasn't screwed anything up longer term. Should probably be skeptical of iPhone apps that require a desktop download, since the desktop component has probably not been subjected to the same rigors of the Apple Store review process that the iPhone app is required to go through.
