A Nightmare – Hopper: Flights, Hotels & Cars Review

Honestly I wish I could give zero stars. I had to change my flight suddenly due to a death in the family and I was told when I booked it that it was free changes due to the airlines COVID policy. But Hopper doesn’t tell you they have to approve the changes and that can take up to 24 hours while the flight increases in price. Plus I tried just cancelling and rebooking it but I had to get approval to use my credit and there are magically no flights available when you try to use credit (I checked without using credit and flights were available) I tried calling and emailing explaining it was an emergency but no one got back to me in the 24 hours they said they would. Thankfully American Airlines was incredibly gracious and got my credit from Hopper and applied it to a flight so I could be with my family right away. I used to tell people about Hopper all the time but now I’ll never give them another dime and I warn anyone I can. No customer service is inexcusable
