Pretty good but not the best. – Heartland Review

I love the heartland tv series and was very excited when this game came out. However I was not expecting to see that it was designed like those cake and cafe games...(can't remember what they are called). I partly liked this and found the game very addictive at first. However, it became repetitive fast. The game is based on the idea of helping and taking care of the horses. But as a horse lover, and owner myself, I was unimpressed with many aspects. Some things were very unrealistic. I'm sorry but you don't put horses on little pillows to groom them. That seems more like dogs and cats. Also as a "horsey gamer" I want horse games that allow me lots of interaction with the horses. Mostly all you get to do in this game is see some cute horse faces; pet their noses, put pills in a feed bucket, shampoo on their heads, and tap nails into their shoes. I'd like to be able to actually work with the horses. Maybe be able to ride them (perhaps a trail riding like feature, or doing activities in an arena) and being able to compete or actually have a horse of your own (or multiple horses) would be great. Like the review before mine said...I see no point in buying the horses offered to be purchased. Nothing changes except you get different colors of horses coming through the barn. I could go on forever offering suggestions for how the game could have been better. I finished the game in two days of brief periods of playing. Needless to say I think it needs a lot of improvements and needs more emphasis on actual equine interaction, but it could have been worse. I hope to see lots of updates for it in the near future. If there are none I might as well delete it off my phone.
