Zzzzz... – Heartland Review

First and foremost, the description of this game is so, so false. You don't train horses. At all. You pet their noses, feed them pills, and shampoo them. That's about it. Not much going on for this game, compared to your other time management hits. It's incredibly boring, not challenging, and some things just don't make any sense. I have never seen the television show, so the premise is new to me. Basically you run a stable and take care of horses as they come in. I've played through six stables so far, and these are your stations: calming, medical, wash, massage, and clean shoes. The first three you start off with on your first stable. So in SIX stables, there have only been two added stations. Talk about slow progression. Each station will have 1-2 steps based on the needs of the horse. A horse doesn't necessarily stop at every station. But here are the things that make little-to-no-sense at all. You can purchase different horse breeds with RB points. What's the point behind this? No clue; it's never explained. They have different "personalities," much like your Dash games have different customers... But why do I have to purchase them? You can purchase "accessories" to sell from your barn, but you don't make any profit from these so, again, what's the point? When you purchase upgrades with your profits, you have to wait an average of 10 minutes before that upgrade is actually applied *blinkblink* After playing through six stables and being bored from the start, I'm deleting the game. I wish there had been a Lite version so I would have known to not waste my money. I just get too eager for new time management titles.
