Yes it works, but I feel like I was forced to install it. I originally purchased Remote Buddy for my MacBook pro so they could utilize the I R remote that this Mac came with. Frustratingly, after hours and hours of troubleshooting I never could make it work. Bear in mind, this is the remote that came with this Mac. Anyway, this app does work but I would much, much prefer to use the smaller I R remote from Apple. Instead of my iPhone.
