WARNING: Lethally addictive game! – Nuke Your Neighbor Lite Review
This game fires on all cylinders - poppin' graphics, killer fx, plus cleverly designed and lethally addictive gameplay.
It's similar to Uno, a game I've always been partial to, but this one is actually more exciting. Compelling, even. The originality of the rules plus the stunning atmospheric touches bring a welcome edge to the card game genre, an edge I didn't think was actually possible anymore.
Both game options are equally fun but the Elimination one is much faster, since it's so darn easy to get eliminated. I haven't won an Elim game yet, which I like because of the challenge of that, although there's a higher luck factor than in the regular game, which involves more strategy.
I like how you have to win three rounds to end the game and yet this doesn't necessarily mean you will win; the player with the lowest score is the winner. Fine by me. And I also like how it doesn't save the game if you bail - (1) it adds to the immediacy of the proceedings, and (2) it lets you start a new match if you're going down in flames early on, with no foreseeable chance of recovery
