Flaws in design makes practicing multiplication facts difficult – Tractor Multiplication Review

This app is intended to help students practice multiplication facts with accuracy and at a fast rate. However, there were many flaws in the design which made this game less attractive to use. First the assessment tool at the end of the game does not display all missed multiplication facts making it difficult to increase practice in the future. The accuracy and "amount right" applications were also incorrect totals from what was answered during the game. Once the assessment tool appears indicating the end of the game there is no way to return to the home screen for a new user to begin play. In addition to those limited features, the set-up of the game was very slow which may cause young users to become impatient as they wait for other players to join the game. Many times I was unable to create my own game and there were additional times when the program responded slowly and returned me back to the login screen. I also think there needs to be the addition of levels into the program so that players at different abilities can participate in for this program. If a multiplication fact with higher digits appear as the given fact a younger learner my turn to guessing, hindering the learning process that should be taking place with the use of this application. Overall, there may be ways to improve this app, because the idea and theme of playing with others is engaging and interactive. I would just want to make sure that any users of this app are moving forward with practicing multiplication facts and not backwards.
