Could be better – Ratio Stadium Review

This app almost meets the common core standard of comparing fractions, but there is no explanation of the fractions. The questions are very similar and have no variety to them. It is hard to focus on the content with such distracting frills. It is easy to use without reading the instructions. It would be better if you could adjust the difficulty, sound, and types of feedback. This app should also explain wrong answers, since it does not right now. The app seems to be more geared towards boys since the whole game is a dirt bike race. The only time that feedback is given is at the end of the race. But even that only tells you the accuracy percentage, and what problems you got wrong. The app should be adjusted so that the questions match the format of the answers. It can be confusing to students when the problem reads "1 to 3" and sees the answers written as fractions. This app also freezes occasionally. There really is nothing special about the app that couldn't be done on a worksheet.
